When you look into the mirror,
do you look familiar?

Do you recognize yourself?
Or are you someone else?

Has all of your youth gone away?
Do you wish it could've stayed?

Is there something that you're hiding?
Or is that just the poor lighting?

Look yourself in the eye,
It's okay if you need to cry.

You are not your mistakes.
You have made it to this day.

There is a reason for your existence.
So give up on your resistance.

You are made in a likeness,
Of a being that's pure righteous.

He loves you more than the rest,
He wants you to feel your very best.

He wants you to see His light,
Even when you close your eyes.

He's the one that will give you strength,
Even when your weakness has gone its length.

He's the one that will give you wings,
Even when there's trouble that the world brings.

His promises, He will keep
Even when the water seems too deep.

He sent his son to die for you,
Believing in Him is the least you can do.

Don't just look in the mirror to see.
Look into your heart also and believe.
