Muffin Chaos turns yummy!

Tomorrow is an Easter Egg hunt at our church. I have been looking for something to make to take to it. I searched my cabinets during the week to see if we had any ingredients to make anything.

I came across two packs of muffin mix while I was looking this morning. Martha White muffin mix. I thought, hmm I will make these for us to eat tomorrow morning before we leave to go to the store to get last minute stuff for the egg hunt.

So I follow the directions and cook one pack of the muffins like normal.

I get the muffins out of the oven and start to try to get them out of the pan. I normally put PAM on the pan before I cook them, but this time I forgot.

Silly me, I forgot the PAM.

The muffins stuck to the bottom of the pan.

They were so crumbly and I didn't know what to do with them...

So I put the chaos in a bowl.

I remembered making cake balls before, so I grabbed a handful of crumbs and squeezed them together to see if that would do anything.

They were sticking together!

It formed into a muffin ball.

So I made muffin balls out of the rest of the crumbs. I popped one in my mouth to taste and I realized that they were missing something...

I got some confectioners sugar out of the pantry and mixed it with melted butter to a thick consistency. I put the icing in a Ziploc bag and cut the tip off of the bag. I squeezed thin lines of icing over the muffin balls and made sure I used every bit of the icing. I loooove icing.

I tasted one to make sure it wasn't too sweet. Boy oh boy it was yummy!

So I made up the second muffin mix and forgot the PAM... on purpose.

I had fun making chaos into something yummy. :)

My oldest enjoyed them too!

I decided that that's what I'm taking to the Egg Hunt tomorrow. Hopefully, everyone else will love them just as much as we do. :)
