As you know,

but don't quite understand,

you're becoming a big brother,

a promotion by command.

Don't think that it's because

you're not enough,

but know that for sure,

it's because of God's love.

God has a plan

for you, your daddy, and me

the journey we all began

when your daddy and I

found out about our first little man.

You were inside my belly

so safe and so warm

listening to my heartbeat

away from any harm.

You came out so happy,

so small and so oblivious.
All of your little toes and fingers

so fragile, that was obvious.

Now you're so big

so grown and so smart.

Made for true greatness,

right from the start.

You're learning our world,

so fast and so strong.

You're making your own world,

learning right from wrong.

We are so proud of you,

that will never change.

We are always here for you,

that will always remain.

Having a little brother

isn't going to be easy,

but we've the upmost faith

you'll get through it easy peasey.

Your little brother

is extremely blessed

to have a big brother like you,

the very best.

You'll teach him everything

that you've learned and more.

All of the fun stuff

and even the stuff that is a bore.

He'll look up to you

and everything that you'll do.

But don't you worry,

he'll be his own type of person too.

We will never love y'all
